I sent this one to a challenge called Þjóðvegur 1 or Highway #1 in English. The rules were that I should take a photo standing on the highway #1. I went on a trip with my family to nesjavellir and I decided to take a photo for this challenge on the road to Nesjavellir. The road wasn't highway #1 but I thought it wouldn't matter so I submitted it to the challenge. I got so lucky to win the challenge. But my luck didn't last long, my entry got disqualified for not meeting the challenge before I knew I had won.

Personally I didn't like this photo but I've heard that it's pretty good so I'm going to submit it here :)

Yeah it is pretty good. I like the fact that the road doesn't just go off into the distance. It stops before the end of the pic. That's really unusual in shots like this :)

yes it is pretty good! the roasd seems a little out of place in the setting but that adds to the charm!
